Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 1, 2026 · Last Updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ToolFlow (“we,” “our,” or “us”), available at https://toolflow.tech, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all provisions contained herein, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.
ToolFlow operates as a decentralized, client-side digital utility platform. When you process images, compress documents, convert formats, or generate text, all computations, WebAssembly executions, and Canvas rendering take place strictly inside your personal web browser.
No Transmission: ToolFlow servers never ingest, host, index, or store your uploaded source files or generated output files. As a consequence, ToolFlow cannot retrieve, recover, or inspect any files you manipulate on the site.
3. Intellectual Property Rights & Content Ownership
Your Content: You retain 100% full, exclusive ownership, copyright, and title to all files, media, documents, text, and data processed using ToolFlow. ToolFlow asserts zero copyright, ownership, or licensing claims over your processed material.
ToolFlow Assets: All software source code, website design, UI layout, logos, visual iconography, brand trademarks, domain names, and educational guide text are the proprietary intellectual property of ToolFlow and protected by international copyright laws. You may not scrape, frame, clone, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the platform codebase without prior written consent.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use ToolFlow exclusively for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You agree NOT to:
- Attempt to execute denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, automated bot abuse, or scraping mechanisms that impair the infrastructure or availability of ToolFlow;
- Process, convert, or manipulate materials containing illegal content, malware payloads, ransomware binaries, or unauthorized surveillance software;
- Bypass or attempt to circumvent security controls, content delivery network (CDN) firewalls, or rate-limiting features;
- Impersonate ToolFlow staff, misrepresent affiliation with our team, or use the platform in any manner that infringes on third-party patent, trademark, trade secret, or privacy rights.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ToolFlow, its founders, contributors, or service providers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:
- Loss of data, accidental file deletion, corrupted PDF structures, or unintended image quality loss resulting from compression settings;
- Calculations, hashes, or conversions that do not meet your specific operational or legal requirements;
- Browser crashes, device memory exhaustion, or hardware lockups triggered by processing exceptionally large files locally;
- Inability to access the service due to local ISP interruptions, device incompatibility, or hosting downtime.
You assume full responsibility for maintaining independent, uncompressed backups of all critical files before initiating any client-side file transformation.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties (“As-Is”)
The platform, including all interactive tools, calculation scripts, guides, and documentation, is provided strictly on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. ToolFlow disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Advertisements & Third-Party Services
ToolFlow is funded in part through third-party programmatic advertisements, including Google AdSense. These advertising networks may use cookies or web beacons to serve ads based on your visit history across the web. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume liability for any products, services, or claims advertised through third-party ad units.
